7800N

Post by Collegeroad »

Hi,
Is there anywhere that has a tutorial on how make the 7800n an access point if the range of the 8200n isn't long enough.

Thanks

Peter

PS Whats the difference between the 2 firmwares for sky as both work for me ?

It all depends do you plan to use a ethernet connection between both devices??

One firmware has client ID for EWAN (1.06g.dc1) and the other only has client ID for ADSL (1.06g)

no ethernet at all between them just have them linked wirelessly and they both accept devices wirelessly.

You can try WDS mode and disable the DHCP server on the 7800N
