Wifi Extenders

I am new to the forum
I have just installed a Billion 7800N router - set up went very easy

I am now trying to set up the wifi extenders around the house

I have BT wifi extender 600 , I go through the set up process

When I move the Extender to another part of the house ,the network name appears on the device , the wifi signal is good but, the big but , is it will not let me get on the Internet

I have looked on the internet for hours , without finding anything accept a person saying a D Link extender works with the Billion router, so I got one of these , same problem , the network name appears on the device , the wifi signal is good but the big but is it will not let me get on the Internet

Any help will be so appreciated, I am desperate

NB I did search the forum first , I found a solution from Dec 11 2013 "billousfrog" who mentioned enabling WWM (WIFI Multimedia) worked for him , check my setting , it is already enabled

Hi

Have spent the last 4 hours today ( I dread to think how many hours in total ) trying to get either the BT wifi Extenders 600 or the D Link range extender to work , without no success

Running out of ideas , so any good ideas are welcome
