Hello all,
Currently looking at upgrading my 7800n which has broken down.
Trying to figure out the different models and upgrade path has been quite the headache but I think I'm looking at either the 8800AXL R2 or the 8900AX-1600 R2.
There's quite the price difference and I don't need VPN functionality, however google searching different forum posts on them, some say that the 8900 uses a better broadcom chipset version than the 8800, and some posts say that they are using the same.
Given the price difference, if anyone could help confirm which is the case it would be much appreciated

The 8900 series has the more expensive chipset set, hence the price difference.kevftw wrote: ↑Fri Dec 20, 2019 3:11 am Hello all,
