Billion 6300NX close to LTE?

Post by MadDogMike »

Hi,

I just got the new BiPac 6300NX LTE router and I am hoping to pair this with a Huawei E3276 LTE modem even though it possibly not on the compatibility list yet.

I am using USB1 on the router for the USB LTE modem.

The USB modem is being picked up in the router. You can see the signal strength, card name, firmware, IMEI and IMSI information.

The USB card name is shown as E3276 and the firmware 21.263.03.00.00

The PID 1506 and VID 12d1 are what I get from the USB modem plugged into a PC.

I have only put the APN provided by the ISP in the 3G_1 configuration, no username, no password and no pin, but it does nothing from here, although the Internet LED is red and the USB1 LED is green. In the ISP's mobile client, the dial string is *99#. I have tried both *99# and *99***1# but no connection is made.

Here is the routers log:

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

The firmware you sent me does not allow me to save configurations.

Could you please provide one that does?

Thanks

Is there a firmware that will support a Huawei E5732? It works fine on the 7800DXL ... But the dongles I have do not seem to work on the 6300NXL and I cant find a compatability list for it?

When the Huawei E5732 is plugged to the 7800DXL, does the 7800DXL obtain a internal WAN IP from the E5732??
