eWAN Configuration

Post by kerwinn »

Is it possible to plug a laptop into the eWAN port, set the IP on the laptop to something on the same range as the eWAN and then ping the eWAN port?
I've tried and I don't get a reply, I've also checked for arp entires and theres nothing in there either. Does management need to be turned on on that port?

I have never tried that, but it should be possible as long as the 7402 is set to EWAN mode, and you set a static WAN IP to the router, and the computer should then be within the same range
