After 2 ADSL2+ disconnects this morning for which the system log was helpful, after a third the log is blank.
Any idea what is wrong and how to fix it?

Not sure haven't seen this before, unless Clear Log was clicked.
Try clicking on 'Configuation >> System >> Configure Log, set the log level and display level to debugging and click on Apply (also make sure the 'Log' option is set to enable)

Syslog now populated since 02:24:28 this morning.
Unfortunately, the disconnects are still frequent.

Perhaps the problem has resolved itself (as, mostly, it always does).
