2.52.d3 vs 2.50a.d23 for BiPAC 8900AX 1600 R2

Post by harry66 »

Hi,

Can you please confirm which of the following is the most recent firmware version?

The current firmware of my new BiPAC 8900AX 1600 R2 router is 2.52.d3 but latest downloads version is 2.50a.d23 ...

I expect the download site is the latest but confused by the 2.52 vs 2.50a part of the version number? 2.52 is greater than 2.50a...

Thanks!

Thanks for the prompt response and confirmation.
So is there a change log release note for that 2.52.d3?
Thanks

I understand from Billion support that the latest version will be available once a server issue is resolved.
My router was preflashed with the latest

If I'm on 2.52.d23 do I still need to factory-reset when upgrading to 2.52.d3? Both are (presumably) the same 2.52 code base.

It's really would be quite a pain re-entering all my custom settings. The instructions say not to reload a saved config but is that true if the code base hasn't changed?

Do you mean 2.50.d23?? (not 2.52.d23)

As 2.52.d3 is the latest for the 8900AX-1600R2.
