Occasional Disconnect

I have software running that needs to be online 24/7.

I've got a BiPAC 8800AXL R2 that's upgraded to the latest firmware 2.52.d18. Everything runs fine 99.9% of the time and has been for many many years. Every now and then I get overnight disconnects, which I assume is someone doing something at the exchange. The issue I have is that the router doesn't reconnect without me manually rebooting it. It will always reconnect perfectly happily after a reboot.

I'm using Plusnet.

The log looks like this on repeat.

It looks like there might be a issue at the exchange or on the line, as we can see retransmits/ retries, followed by Couldn't get channel number: Transport endpoint is not connected, which means no response.

You might want to check with PlusNet and let them run some checks
